CP Lab Safety recommends adding 1 Vent Filter (VF-201) for every one or two HPLC lines attached to a Safety ECO Funnel™. Vent filters relieve pressure that can build up inside the ECO Funnel™.

The polypropylene Vent Filter is a combo filter with glass microfiber and nylon membrane, produced from the finest grade of borosilicate glass microfibers and nylon membrane that offers good chemical resistance to most common aqueous organic solvents and common HPLC solvents and resistant to weakening or disruption of the fibrous matrix by inorganic or organic solutions.
