The latest research has formed the basis for SATECH's design for SmartCells anti-fatigue technology. Research shows that the best possible health and safety solution for an anti-fatigue surface is a combination of critical elements working in concert; not simply a softer mat.

To effectively reduce fatigue from prolonged standing, the mat surface must provide an optimal degree of firmness. It must create some instability to encourage small postural movements, yet it must not be so soft that it creates an unstable condition that causes muscles to work more than necessary to maintain a standing position. The mat must also provide stability to ensure secure footing, and still cushion adequately under pressure.

Flooring (special order only)

SmartCells® custom pharmacy & lab flooring makes your entire work area an anti-fatigue surface eliminating the need for mats and runners. SmartCells® custom flooring can be configured to any workspace and is manufactured in a variety of colors. Custom flooring gives an entire workplace floor secure, stable footing and an energizing responsiveness unique to SmartCells®.

 

Runners (special order only)

SmartCells® anti-fatigue runners are available in 2 ft. and 3 ft. widths and are manufactured to any length. Runners are constructed from mat segments joined together with a unique connector system allowing for reconfiguration and/or easy cleaning. The solid rubber edges resist damage and warping.

 

 

Mats

SmartCells® anti-fatigue mats enable workers to stand comfortably for long periods while minimizing the fatigue and pain associated with standing work. Available in 2 x 3 ft. and 3 x 5 ft. sizes and a variety of colors. Manufactured from durable rubber, SmartCells mats consist of a matrix of hollow cylinders that function like a spring when compressed. SmartCells mats provide a durable cushion that offers secure, stable footing and a unique energizing responsiveness not found in other mats.
