CP Lab Safety (formerly known as California Pacific Lab Safety) was established in 1996 in Novato, California by Dr. Ron Najafi.
Our Beginnings
Like many companies, CP Lab Safety began with one product: The Safety (Ecological) ECO Funnel™. It was born out of necessity to create a safer, healthier and more productive work environment. Simply put, the ECO Funnel™ solves the open waste container problem, still prevalent in many labs today.
Our patented ECO Funnel™ prevents emission of 99.9% of volatile waste solvents, acids and bases. It is made of HDPE, has a gasket in the lid, a filter, a positive latch and sturdy hinge. It protects your lungs, reduces the chance of fire, spills and helps comply with regulations pertaining to open waste containers, secondary containment and clean air.
Business Now
Our ECO Funnel™ line of products has expanded over the years to include a larger variety of screw caps sizes to fit the most commonly used laboratory waste containers. They are also available in complete systems to include the ECO Funnels™, a container and in mostcases, a secondary container. HPLC Adapters can be customized to any ECO Funnel™.
CP Lab Safety continues to expand its range of products with safety cabinets, safety cans, safety eyewear, gloves drums, glass and plastic labware and many other products.
