(+/-)-alpha-Bisabolol is among Spectrum's inventory of research chemicals from TCI America. Also referred to as Bisabolol or levomenol, it is a monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol and the main constituent derived from the Myoporum crassifolium and its essential oil. With a slight floral scent, bisabolol is often used in a variety of fragrances and is considered to have anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties.
