Volumetric Flasks
- Volumetric Flasks (Standard Class A) are manufactured to conform to Federal Specifications NNN-F-289 for Type 1, Class "A" unserialized flasks and ASTM E-288 and are offered with or without a mixing bulb, which contains approximately one tenth of the flask capacity and aids in the mixing or dissolving of the flask contents.
- Volumetric Flasks (Heavy Duty Class A) feature a wide mouth design to facilitate mixing, pipette access, sampling and filling. Unique Flat Bottom Interior permits the use of a standard stir bar. Large permanent white letters make the capacity clearly visible. Flasks are calibrated "To Contain" at Class A tolerances, per ASTM E288 specifications.
- Red Low Actinic Volumetric Flasks (Heavy Duty Class A) are made of low actinic red stained glass for light sensitive solutions. Allowing less than 1% transmission below 400nm and 5% from 400-600nm. Wide mouth design facilitates mixing, pipette access, sampling and filling. Unique Flat Bottom Interior permits the use of a standard stir bar. Large permanent white letters make the capacity clearly visible. Flasks are calibrated "To Contain" at Class A tolerances, per ASTM E288 specifications.
