Prefab drum storage buildings

Pre-fabricated Hazmat storage buildings are generally divided into Non-Combustible outdoor storage buildings for storing combustible materials, and Fire-Rated* outdoor storage buildings which are required for storing flammable liquid drums or other flammable materials. We also offer standard prefab storage buildings that are not for hazardous drum storage. Most storage buildings are subject to local regulations and must be placed a certain distance away of other buildings or property lines. All of our prefabricated steel hazmat storage buildings are custom built to order, although some smaller outdoor drum lockers are ready made and can ship within a week or two. For large storage buildings, choose between standard depths of 8', 10', and 12' or request a fully customized option. FM Approved Chemical Storage Buildings are available in lengths up to 52'. Our top-grade units offer safe and compliant hazardous material storage solutions that include a built-in compliant sump. Buildings are delivered by truck and require a fork lift or crane for removal, as well as properly engineered concrete pad for securing the unit. We can help you with the details as long as you know what you'll be storing, approximately where you plan to store it, and how much you will be storing.

*Chemical Storage Lockers and Outdoor Buildings located within 10 feet of a main building or property line typically require a 4-hour fire rating. Units located more than 10 feet but less than 50 feet from a main building or property line require a 2-hour fire rating. Units more than 75 feet from such items require no fire rating. (Check with your local authorities for any variation in code requirements, as some jurisdictions have stricter requirements than others.)
