24" Portable Clean Room, ISO Class 5 with UVC Decontamination, 350 CFM

The 24" Portable Clean Room UVC creates a positive-pressure environment by supplying filtered air to the workspace. This ISO Class 5 Cleanroom helps protect sensitive applications from outside contamination.

This model features a user-friendly control panel that allows the operator to adjust the LED light and fan speed, monitor the hood’s runtime, and utilize the UVC light hood decontamination cycle. The UVC light cycle offers a 2-minute safety countdown to notify the operator to leave the room before the light turns on. The UVC light will stay lit for 15 minutes to complete the hood decontamination cycle.

This compact and reliable system offers a sterile enclosure suitable for applications such as polymerase chain reaction, IV bag infusion, stem cell research, tissue culturing, and more.

A Portable Clean Room is a compact positive pressure system that provides an exceptionally clean laminar airflow inside the hood. This system utilizes a dual-stage filtration process which consists of a MERV8 pre-filter and a HEPA filter with an efficiency rating of up to 99.97% efficient on particles 0.3 micrometers and larger. For applications requiring a higher efficiency, an ULPA filter is available with an efficiency rating of up to 99.9995% at 0.12 micrometers.

Rather than converting an entire room into a HEPA-filtered positive pressure area, portable clean rooms provide a compact and economical solution to reduce/remove contamination of particulates, fumes, vapors, and toxins, as well as control the environment's temperature, allotted air pressure (or fan velocity), and room humidity.
