LL-37 is an antimicrobial peptide found in mammals belonging to the cathelicidin family of antimicrobial peptides. This peptide regulates inflammation and is a potential therapeutic candidate for the regulation of cell death (pyropoptosis and NETosis) while having bactericidal and LPS-neutralizing activities. (1) LL-37 also possesses anti-cancer activity. (2)
