Nitric Acid, 70 Percent, Reagent, ACS is a strong and highly corrosive mineral acid. Primarily used as a reagent, the pure compound is colorless and used for nitration, typically to an organic molecule. It is also used as a strong oxidizing agent due to its corrosive properties. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured Nitric Acid is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and purity.
