MARCOM® Industrial Training Manual. This HAZWOPER Emergency Response: Operations Package is available in both DVD and USB formats, and in English or Spanish language options. It assists facilities in complying with the employee training requirements of OSHA's HAZWOPER regulation (29 CFR 1910.120), and helps employees avoid exposure to hazardous materials. The package of four training programs is aimed at workers who are responsible for containing hazardous material (HAZMAT) releases. Programs included are: Understanding HAZWOPER, Personal Protective Equipment, The Emergency Response Plan, and Accidental Release Measures and Spill Cleanup Procedures.

Hazardous materials and waste are part of many work situations and can be found on many types of job sites. OSHA emphasizes the importance of recognizing and safely handling these substances, requiring comprehensive training for employees depending on their involvement with hazardous materials. In 1976, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) to regulate hazardous waste from cradle to grave. Additional regulations, including OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER), have since expanded these requirements.

Each program in the package is designed to deliver approximately two hours of classroom instruction and comes with a comprehensive leader's guide, reproducible scheduling & attendance form, employee quiz, training certificate, and training log. This package provides essential training for operations-level responders in emergency HAZMAT situations.
