Celebrating 25 Years of ECO Funnel
NOVATO, Calif. (April. 20, 2021) - CP Lab Safety, a Woman Owned Small Business in Marin County, California, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of ECO Funnel®, their flagship product. ECO Funnel was invented by Dr. Ron Najafi, a synthetic organic chemist, in 1996. Originally called Safety Ecological Funnel, ECO Funnel was created to minimize hazardous fume emissions from open waste containers in the laboratory. Through the use of ECO Funnel, 99.9% of toxic emissions are eliminated, greatly reducing a lab’s environmental impact. Additionally, using ECO Funnel on chemical waste containers prevents accidental lab fires and improves employee safety.
To celebrate 25 years of keeping people healthy and safe, CP Lab Safety is announcing the arrival of the 4th generation of ECO Funnel. The new and improved ECO Funnel will become available to the public in the Summer 2021 and features a flat lid and sleeker design. Past generation ECO Funnels will still be available for a limited time.
