Description
Burettes, PTFE Key stopcock, Class 'A', Capacity 100mL, 0.20mL Blue Grad- Tolerance +/- 0.10mL. This burette is for laboratory use. The burette is made of class "A" borosilicate glass with blue graduations and has a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plastic plunger stopcock for resistance to chemicals, moisture, and high temperatures. PTFE plastic is a strong, low-friction material that has smooth transfer, high surface release, and nonstick properties. It has high chemical resistance, and resists moisture, high temperatures, flames, thermal expansion, and ultraviolet (UV) exposure. PTFE has low temperature toughness. The burette has 100 mL capacity with 0.20mL graduation, and is suitable for high school or college students. Accuracy as per DIN ISO 385, ASTM-E287 standard.
Borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: Strain Point -515°C | Annealing Point 565°C | Softening Point 820°C.
