Boric Acid, 4 Percent (w/v) Aqueous Solution, For Nitrogen (Ammonia), APHA is a weak acid of boron often used as an antiseptic, insecticide, flame retardant, neutron absorber, or precursor to other chemical compounds. It exists in the form of colorless crystals or a white powder that dissolves in water. Boric acid is poisonous if taken internally or inhaled in large quantities. As an APHA certified solution, this item is meets the ASTM D1209 standards and can be used in water and waste water treatment facilities to determine the concentration of dissolved and particulate materials.
