BioVortexer Mixer. Handheld, battery-powered motor designed to drive disposable polypropylene pestles in 0.5 and 1.5mL microcentrifuge tubes. The tip adapter securely holds the pestles while in operation. Protein and DNA pellets, precipitates, soft tissues and other solids are completely dispersed or resuspended in seconds by a combination of mechanical and vortex action. A new polypropylene pestle is used with each sample. A practical alternative to a conventional vortex mixers, this cordless motor is faster, less tedious, and safer. Take the lightweight BioVortexer to the sample instead of the sample to the mixer. Tip adapter and two AA batteries required and included.
