Hexamethylenetetramine, Reagent, ACS, is a white crystalline heterocyclic organic compound that is used in the synthesis of other compounds. Its main use is as a hardening agent in the production of phenolic resin molding, a solid fuel component, a food additive and as a buffering agent in the laboratory. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured compounds are used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
