Mini Laboratory Vortex Single-Tube Mixer

The Boekel Scientific Tap Dancer™ Mini Tube Vortex Mixer is compact, simple lab vortex mixer with a low profile and small footprint. Ideal for mixing centrifuge tubes, culture tubes, blood tubes, and test tubes. The unit has a pressure sensitive cup for touch activated operation or the unit can run in continuous mode. The suction cup feet prevent the unit from moving during operation.

The Tap Dancer is designed for mixing substances in tubes using an eccentric mechanism. It can be used in a variety of applications including general test tube mixing, tissue samples mixing, cell suspensions vortexing, chemical reagents mixing, etc. This unit is equipped with 20mm diameter single Polystyrol vortexing cup for using one tube at a time and is intended for two operations:

• Continuous Vortexing
• Intermittent Vortexing

The intermittent operation is activated by touching the mixing cup with a test tube and operates at variable speeds from gentle shaking to vigorous vortexing. To operate the continuous operation simply push the switch down to the continuous option.
