Potassium Cyanide, Granular, Reagent, ACS is a chemical compound that is similar in appearance to sugar, it is a crystalline, colorless and granular. It is very water soluble and extremely toxic. A close relative to sodium cyanide, it is widely used in the preparation of nitriles, carboxylic acids and in organic synthesis. One of its most common uses is in gold mining. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured compound is used as the quality standard against which other substances are grade and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
