Multi-Gen® 7XL Probes, 12/Pk. Multi-Gen 7XL probes are the better alternative to disposable plastic probes. These unique probes are a reusable 7mm diameter probe manufactured from superior 316 stainless steel and PTFE which are available in a pack of 12, provide homogenizing of samples without cross contamination and without the need to stop and clean a probe between samples. The required Multi-Gen adapter attaches to the CLS-5030 Homogenizer to provide hands free ejection of the probe minimizing the chance of accidental contamination. Advantages Over Disposable Generator Probes: Multi-Gen probes can process more difficult samples, including tough tissues. Multi-Gen probes can be sterilized by any method, including flaming and autoclaving. Multi-Gen probes are cost effective because of their ability to be reused again and again allowing to control budget costs, while disposable generator probes force an end-user to continually purchase and maximum use is 1-8 times per probe.
