2-Port Cap for 3/16" OD tubing for Solvent Delivery, Complete Kit. Fits glass bottles with a GL45 closure and accepts 3/16" tubing. Tubing is pushed all the way through the port to the bottom of the reservoir before the adapter is tightened. (Tubing is not included.)

Included in this kit:

  • (1) GL45 port cap with (2) 5/16-24 UNF holes
  • (1) built-in air inlet valve, which prevents implosion when fluid is removed.
  • (1) 5/16-24 plug for unused hole (WF-PL-113-EA)
  • (1) adapter which accepts 3/16" OD tubing (WF-AQ-109-EA)

Please note that this design has a tapered surface which seals well on glass bottles. If you intend to use plastic DIN45 threaded bottles, it will not seal properly and you will need a gasket design instead. Please call for a quotation.

The main benefit of this port cap is that the air inlet check valve has been integrated into the bottle cap, allowing air to safely enter the cap when fluid is pulled out. The check valve will resist most solvents used in the laboratory. Air inlet valve has a 120um PP frit and is made of perfluoroelastomer. The remaining wetted surfaces are (Teflon®-equivalent) PTFE.

Reduce chemical evaporation and exposure to hazardous vapors with this solvent reservoir port cap, which uses a secure fluid connection and a built-in air inlet valve to maintain pressure equilibrium within the bottle.

5/16-24 UNF Port Threads
Designed to accept industry-standard 5/16-24 UNF threaded fittings. For use with semi-rigid tubing equal 3/16" outside diameter. Ports are angled 10° for more accessible tubing connections.

Anti-Twist Design
To prevent twisting of tubing when the cap is removed or attached, the inner body rotates independently of the outer collar when loosened.

Chemically Compatible
Constructed of inert PTFE, the cap insert provides ideal chemical compatibility with laboratory solvents. Under normal use, the outer Polypropylene collar is non-wetted. Caps may be autoclaved to 140°C. Please inquire for other material options and custom designs.
