LP GAS CYLINDER STORAGE Cabinets: Storage of LP-Gas is covered in NFPA 58-2008, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code. Propane is not a flammable liquid, but rather flammable, liquefied gas. This difference is very important and the reason that the two must not be stored improperly. Propane storage is severely restricted in buildings because of its rapid evolution of gas from leakage from containers. These heavy gauge painted steel Gas Cylinder Cabinets provide significant advantages over conventional painted steel models. Designed for outdoor storage, steel cabinets weigh 3x more than aluminum units for maximum strength and protection. Meets OSHA SubPart 1910.110 requirements and NFPA 58-113 standards. Steel Gas Cylinder Cabinets can withstand the most rugged outdoor environments. Manufactured out of heavy gauge steel and painted to resist weathering over time. Our solid steel models are also designed to add an additional layer of protection from theft and unwanted entry. All-welded galvannealed steel construction, ready to use, shipped fully assembled. These cabinets provide years of tamper resistant storage for your Non-Flammable Gas Cylinders. Meets OSHA Subpart 1910.101 requirements and qualifies for Smart Certification. VERTICAL units also comply with CSA B149.2 Canadian Standard for Liquid Propane Storage.

The interior and exterior finish consists of an aliphatic polyurethane finish. This polyurethane coating has chemical properties to withstand salt spray, chemical rub, fading due to UV exposure, and other tests performed to epoxy paints. Urethane is more durable under conditions when moving items in and out of the cabinet as it resists chipping and peeling. One year limited warranty on all parts and accessories installed by the manufacturer at time of purchase. 15 year structural warranty from the date of delivery to the initial purchaser.
