Set of 5 replacement carbon filters for use with port caps with a 1/4" female NPT thread. Can be used various adapters to fit different port caps, including the popular flexible adapter WF-FLEXI-12 to allow for an adjustable location.
Active Solvent Adsorption
Reduce toxic fumes and noxious odors from HPLC solvent waste by vapor capture onto activated carbon filters. Each filter includes a single-use 3-month timer to provide an estimated replacement date.
Timer included
Once installed, press the button on the timer to initiate a 3-month count-down. This is not real-time detection but offers a practical timeline and an estimated end-of-service life.
Adaptable Design
Suitable for continuous flow of solvent vapor on analytical or semi-preparative HPLC instruments, these filters are constructed of HDPE and Polypropylene. They can be attached to various point-source emissions by adapting to the 1/4” NPT female port at the receiving end of the filter with various connectors and adapters.
Optional Color-Change Indicator
For precise end-of-service-life detection or for use with normal-phase or aggressive solvents, choose the optional color-change chemical-breakthrough indicator model which offers a visible sign that organic solvents have broken through the carbon filter barrier. The marker turns orange once exposed, alerting the user that chemical protection is no longer at 100%.
