Luer Barb HPLC Waste Line Adapter for Custom ECO Funnels (includes installation)

ECO Funnels can be equipped with HPLC waste line adapters, allowing the operator to connect tubing directly to the funnel. Custom installation is included in the product price. To order HPLC attached to your ECO Funnel(s), please add the desired funnels and fittings to your cart. We can install up to 6 HPLC fittings per 4" funnel and 8 fittings per 8" funnel.

We will customize the ECO Funnel prior to shipment based on your specifications. To order waste line adapters custom-fitted to your ECO Funnel(s), please perform the following steps:

• Measure the Inner Diameter (ID) of your tubing to determine the correct size for your luer barb tubing adapter(s). Alternately, you can send us the manufacturer name and part number for the tubing, and we can identify it for you.
• Add the desired ECO Funnels and luer lock adapters to your cart.
• Check out normally.

Once we receive your order, we will email you a diagram to fill out regarding your preferred location for each waste line adapter. Once the locations are confirmed, your order will be sent to our customization team to fulfill. Most customization is completed within 48 hours of receipt of your diagram.

Luer Barb Compatibility

These fittings conform to ISO 594-1 standards and are compatible with other ISO-compliant luer connections. They are commonly used for secure, leak-resistant connections in laboratory and medical applications. As with any connection, performance should be verified under your specific conditions.

Material and Connection Details

Polypropylene construction provides broad chemical resistance. Luer barb adapters support tubing sizes from 1/16" (1.6 mm) to 1/4" (6.4 mm). The threaded end attaches to the ECO Funnel; tubing connects to the barb. The barb is designed without parting lines to promote a secure, leak-resistant seal.

Each Luer Barb HPLC adapter kit includes a male and female that connect together:

1. Female Luer Thread Style with 5/16" Hex to 1/4-28 UNF Bottom Sealing Thread, Natural Polypropylene
2. Male Luer Integral Lock Ring to Barb, Natural Polypropylene, available in several sizes to fit different tubing:

• 1/16" (1.6 mm) ID Tubing
• 1/8" (3.2 mm) ID Tubing
• 3/32" (2.4 mm) ID Tubing
• 5/32" (4.0 mm) ID Tubing
• 3/16" (4.8 mm) ID Tubing
• 1/4" (6.4 mm) ID Tubing

Measure the Inner Diameter (ID) of your tubing to determine the size of Thread Barb fitting that you need. The one-piece natural polypropylene adapters are suitable to use with more flexible tubing.

All barb fittings have anti-rotation devices. These are small oval shaped raised areas which inhibit hose rotation on the barb and prevents possible leakage. The tubing connections range from 1/16" to 3/8"ID. The threaded end is connected to ECO Funnel and the tubing connects to the thread barb.

Thread barb fittings are a one-piece barb, and the simplest option for connecting waste line tubing to your ECO Funnel. However, the tubing may stretch out if the waste line tubing is regularly removed from the ECO Funnel. Consider a waste line adapter with two halves such as # HPLC-QD or HPLC-LL when a process involves regularly connecting and disconnecting the tubing to avoid leakage.

• Add the desired ECO Funnels and luer lock adapters to your cart.
